Zionsville is preparing for another fabulous First Friday on March 2nd with the kick-off and celebration of National Youth Art Month - Zionsville Style! Artwork created by Zionsville Community School art students in grades 1-12 will be on display at 30+ locations throughout Zionsville. A collaborative “youth art project” between the Zionsville Merchants Association and the Fine Arts Department of the Zionsville Community Schools. 250-300 student created artworks (from grades 1 – 12) will be on display at Zionsville merchant locations including the SullivanMunce Cultural Art Center, Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, ZCS Educational Services Center, and Zionsville Town Hall. A complete list of business locations will be posted in late February!
Art classes for children in grades K-12 are being scheduled at Hussey-Mayfield Library during National Youth Art Month. Plans are coming together for an opening reception and a First Friday Exhibit for Youth Art Month at the Hussey-Mayfield Library.
New this year…Artwork created by ZCS art teachers will be on display at Eagle Creek Coffee Company.
